ON Semiconductor has launched the latest product of the XGS series of CMOS image sensors.
XGS 16000 is a 16-megapixel sensor that provides high-quality global shutter imaging for factory automation applications such as robots and inspection systems. XGS 16000 provides excellent performance with low power consumption, consuming only 1 W at 65 frames per second (fps), making XGS 16000 one of the best products in its class in terms of power consumption, and it is also the standard 29 mm x The 29 mm industrial camera provides extremely high resolution.
XGS 16000 has the same general architecture and footprint as other XGS CMOS image sensors. This allows manufacturers to use a single camera design to develop products with different resolutions. The sensor supports an output of up to 65 frames per second (fps) at full resolution, and is available in various speed grade versions, all of which provide Bayer color or black and white options.
